We went to a nice restaurant in town, the Stillhouse, for my dad's dinner (it's one of his favorites). And then we were supposed to go stand outside of Center Square, where prom is held, and watch all the cars arrive and take pictures of Michaela and her date as they walked in.
Buttt, it was freezing Saturday night. So we went back to the house and had cake for dad's birthday (we decided to wait and do presents the next morning so Michaela could be there.)

Y'all, Prom is such a huge deal in my hometown. The dresses are huge, the rides are even huger. I'm taking stretch limos, party buses. One time a group came on the local Fire Truck. My senior year we went in a Margaritaville Party Bus. It's legit.
We made sure to take lots of pictures of her at the house and then at her group's dinner. She looked GORGEOUS.
